Visualising psychedelic experiences

A series made for a BBC Three feature exploring people’s experiences with DMT, the intensely powerful psychedelic. I took literal inspiration from the text itself, which features accounts that read as really beautiful and visually powerful, and wanted the illustrations to carry some of that strangeness and intensity users describe, while keeping a dreamy, almost magical vibe.
