Let‘s go to Chengdu

A set of spot illustrations made for Monocle listing 25 reasons to visit Chengdu, economic centre and capital of Sichuan province. Each spot features one specific reason to visit: from heading to the surrounding mountains for a spot of inspiration to strolling through the city’s award-winning bookshops, there’s something in Chengdu for everyone. I wanted to capture the city’s contemporary energy through this colourful set of illustrations.

A very fun project that left me wanting to visit Chengdu myself!
